BOB DYLAN and DYLAN THOMAS are two of the most passionate, intuitive, and glorious voices of the twentieth century: two artists, related by name and attitude.
The Monterey Peninsula’s celebrated bard and biographical dramatist Taelen Thomas collaborates with artists Steve Mortensen, Laura Burian, and Dixie Dixon for a beguiling excursion into the lives, minds and works of two passionate and unpredictable literary geniuses who share a name: Dylan Thomas and Bob Dylan. This show brings their work together as performed by –
Taelen Thomas, a poetical showman who has been performing works of Dylan Thomas for decades, with gusto!
Steve Mortensen, a versatile singer/songwriter known for his simple but elegant guitar playing, and who has long been a Bob Dylan afficionado.
Laura Burian, a classically trained violinist who plays with many groups locally, and shares a love for these two great artists.
Dixie Dixon, a local singer and bass player who will back the others with her dulcet tones and subtle bass notes.
